Redefining the Digital Experience of Indonesia’s National Sports Complex

LOVE GBK was developed as a unified digital platform designed to elevate how people experience sports, facilities, and public services within the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) complex. The application addresses the need for a modern, centralized solution that simplifies access to GBK’s services while creating a more connected and engaging experience for visitors.

One Platform for Booking, Access, and On-Ground Activities

At the heart of LOVE GBK is a seamless sports facility booking system that allows users to reserve various sports fields and venues across the GBK area directly from the application. The booking experience is designed to be intuitive and efficient, enabling users to select facilities, choose available time slots, and complete reservations without manual or on-site processes.

Navigating GBK Through an Interactive, Location-Based Map

To support ease of movement within the large GBK area, LOVE GBK introduces an interactive location-based map that visualizes all facilities across the complex. Users can explore stadiums, sports fields, parking areas, and supporting facilities, view detailed information for each location, and instantly redirect to Google Maps for real-time navigation.

Building Sports Communities Beyond Physical Boundaries

LOVE GBK extends beyond utility by functioning as a digital sports community platform. Users can join sport-specific communities such as badminton, running, or cycling, where interactions take place through a posting-based feed similar to social platforms like Twitter or Threads. To maintain quality and relevance, community access is moderated through an admin verification process.

Turning Everyday Sports Activities into Measurable Achievements

The application includes a built-in sports activity tracker that allows users to track running, cycling, and walking sessions. Activity data is visualized through detailed summaries and enhanced with a leaderboard system that encourages healthy competition. Users can share completed activity results directly to social media, extending engagement beyond the application.

Smarter Parking Decisions Before Arriving at GBK

LOVE GBK provides parking occupancy estimation across the GBK complex, enabling users to check parking availability in advance. This feature helps visitors make informed decisions before arriving, reducing congestion and improving overall traffic flow within the area.

Direct Public Reporting for Faster Response and Better Facility Management

To strengthen communication between visitors and GBK management, LOVE GBK introduces the “Lapor!” reporting feature. Users can report incidents or facility issues—such as damaged infrastructure—directly to the GBK Public Relations team through the app, enabling faster response times and more transparent facility management.
